Terms

Terms of use

Scope

These terms apply to Businesses and Creators using mmntm Early Access in Bahrain. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. mmntm is a social proof engine — it coordinates real venue participation through campaigns, QR check-ins, and story proof review. It is not a marketplace, creator agency, social network, or guaranteed advertising platform.

What mmntm provides

mmntm provides an operational campaign tool for coordinating creator attendance, QR check-in validation, story proof review, and admin oversight. mmntm does not guarantee virality, sales, impressions, reviews, customer traffic, revenue, positive sentiment, or follower growth. The platform creates the conditions for social momentum — outcomes depend on many factors outside its control.

Platform authority

mmntm reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, misuses the platform, or creates operational or safety risk. During Early Access, admin has authority to make final decisions on disputes, overrides, and account standing.

Early Access limitations

This is a proof-of-concept build. Features, pricing, and policies may change before any public launch, and you may encounter bugs, errors, or interruptions — please report anything that looks wrong to support@mmntm.social. mmntm is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or incomplete features during Early Access. Payment is manual via BenefitPay QR or IBAN transfer. No automated payment gateway or refund processing is included in this build.

Creator relationship

Creators are independent participants, not employees or contractors of the Business or of mmntm. mmntm is not a party to any employment or commercial relationship between Businesses and Creators.

Business rules

Rules for Businesses

Campaign accuracy

Businesses must provide accurate campaign details, set a realistic reach target, and define clear, genuine offers. Campaigns must describe real experiences that will be honoured. Misleading or deceptive campaign descriptions are prohibited.

Offer fulfilment

Businesses must honour the agreed offer to any creator who completes a valid QR check-in. Refusing to honour an agreed offer after a valid check-in is a violation. Businesses cannot change the offer after payment is verified without admin approval.

Proof review

Businesses have 24 hours to approve or reject creator proof submissions. Rejection must include a valid reason from the provided list. Submissions cannot be rejected solely because they lack promotional wording, praise, or scripted messaging. If no review action is taken within 24 hours, the submission may auto-approve.

Prohibited business actions

Businesses are prohibited from: forcing creators to post only positive content or scripted praise; requiring fake reviews or misleading testimonials; demanding content that misrepresents the creator's genuine experience; rejecting valid content without a legitimate reason; changing the agreed offer after payment is verified; refusing entry after a valid QR check-in; pressuring creators outside of approved platform interactions; abusing refund or cancellation rules; using the platform for illegal, harmful, or deceptive campaigns.

Staff responsibilities

Business staff must confirm QR check-ins only when the QR is valid AND the creator is physically present. Staff must not confirm expired, invalid, or previously used QR codes. Staff must honour the agreed campaign offer after a valid check-in.

Creator rules

Creator participation rules

Eligibility

Creators must be 18 or older to join. Some campaigns — such as nightlife venues — are restricted to creators aged 21 and over, and that requirement is applied per campaign. Your social account must be public. These requirements apply throughout your participation — not only at signup. Profile information must be accurate and your own.

Attendance

Creators must arrive within their reserved slot window and show their QR to staff for check-in confirmation. Check-in is only complete when staff confirms it on the platform — scanning alone is not enough. No-shows without prior cancellation affect your reliability record. Repeated no-shows may result in account restriction.

Content

Content must be authentic, your own, and posted from your own account. Follow the campaign brief for story count, location tag, and hashtag. Do not post misleading, deceptive, harmful, or scripted content. Do not reuse content from previous campaigns or other platforms.

Proof submission

Story links must be submitted within the required window after your visit. Links must be publicly accessible at the time of submission. Submitting invalid, expired, deleted, or fabricated links will result in proof rejection and may affect your account standing.

Prohibited creator actions

Creators are prohibited from: creating fake accounts or submitting false profile information; using someone else's social account; submitting inaccurate follower counts; joining campaigns they do not intend to attend; sharing or reusing QR codes; cancelling repeatedly or at short notice without valid reason; submitting old, reused, deleted, or inaccessible content links; claiming campaign completion without physically attending; pressuring businesses for additional benefits; submitting fake links or fabricated proof.

Reliability

Your reliability record is tracked across campaigns. Creators who attend on time, post according to the brief, and submit proof promptly are prioritised for future opportunities. Creators with poor reliability records may receive reduced access, restricted participation, or account removal.

Cancellation

Cancellation and refund policy

Business cancellation — full refund

A 100% refund applies if a Business cancels within 2 hours after payment verification. The campaign must not have started and no creators must have been checked in.

Business cancellation — partial refund

A 50% refund applies if a Business cancels after the 2-hour full-refund window, provided the cancellation is made at least 5 hours before the scheduled campaign start time, and the campaign was originally booked at least 2 calendar days before the start date. The 50% refund is calculated on the final paid campaign price and may take up to 90 days to process.

Business cancellation — no refund

No refund applies if a Business cancels less than 5 hours before the scheduled campaign start time, or if the campaign was booked less than 2 calendar days before the scheduled start date and does not meet the partial-refund conditions above.

Creator cancellation

Creators may cancel a reservation before their slot starts. Cancellations are recorded on the creator's reliability record. Late cancellations — particularly those within a short window of the scheduled start — may count negatively toward reliability standing. Repeated cancellations may result in reduced campaign access or account review.

Refund processing

All refunds are manual during Early Access. Refund eligibility is reviewed by admin based on cancellation timing, campaign records, and applicable rules. Full refunds are processed within a reasonable administrative timeframe. Partial 50% refunds may take up to 90 days to process.

Proof review

Auto-approval policy

24-hour review window

After a creator submits proof links, the Business has 24 hours to review each submission. During this window, the Business may approve or reject each link with a valid reason.

Auto-approval trigger

If no review action is taken within 24 hours, the submission may be automatically approved. Auto-approval counts toward campaign fulfillment the same as a manual approval. By using the platform, Businesses accept this auto-approval rule.

Auto-approval exceptions

Auto-approval may be paused if admin places the submission on hold, a dispute is opened, fraud is flagged, or a technical issue is under review.

Valid rejection reasons

Businesses may only reject a submission for valid reasons, including: wrong venue; missing required hashtag; missing required location tag; fewer stories than required; content not visible; link does not work; old or reused content; irrelevant content; deleted or inaccessible content; fake link; or other specific campaign requirement not met. Rejection cannot be based solely on lack of promotional wording or absence of forced praise.

Dispute and admin review

A creator may dispute a rejection they believe is invalid. Admin may review the submission and overturn an unfair rejection. Admin decisions during Early Access are final.

Campaign completion

Delivery guarantee

Reach is guaranteed, not refunded

Campaigns are sold by follower reach. The reach you buy is committed when the campaign is allocated, and mmntm never sells more reach than the active creator pool can deliver. If a creator drops out near campaign time, the gap is filled from the pool or from mmntm's own accounts. Because the reach you purchased is always delivered, there is no under-delivery refund.

What a completed contribution means

A creator's contribution counts when all of the following are met: valid QR check-in confirmed by staff; required story content submitted as proof; submission approved by the Business or auto-approved; no fraud, active dispute, or major rule violation.

Estimated views are a projection

The estimated-views figure shown alongside your reach is a projection based on typical performance — never a guarantee. Actual views vary with content, timing, and audience, and are not a basis for a refund.

Cancellations are handled separately

The delivery guarantee is separate from cancellations. If you cancel a campaign, the cancellation and refund policy above applies.

What we collect

We collect information you provide during signup and profile setup — including name, email, phone number, social profile details, follower count, and business registration details. We also collect activity data generated while using the platform: campaign participation records, QR check-in events, proof submissions, admin notes, and timestamps.

What you can and cannot see

Businesses may see their own campaigns, payment status, submitted content for their campaigns, creator participation progress, and campaign completion summaries. Businesses cannot see creator payout data, platform pricing margins, internal creator reliability scores, or other businesses' data. Creators may see their own profile, eligible campaigns, reservations, check-in status, proof submission status, and approval outcomes. Creators cannot see business payment records, other creators' payouts, or platform internal scoring.

How we use it

Your data is used to operate the platform: coordinating campaigns, validating attendance, reviewing proof, managing reliability, and enabling admin oversight. We do not sell your data to third parties. To verify creator stats, we may retrieve publicly available information about the social account you give us — such as follower count and whether it is public — through a third-party data provider. We do not access private content or messages, and we never post on your behalf.

Content usage

Content submitted as proof links is used only for campaign verification during Early Access. mmntm does not claim ownership of creator content. Commercial reuse of creator content beyond verification — by the Business or by mmntm — requires separate consent from the creator.

Storage

Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) and some providers process data on servers outside Bahrain (for example, database hosting in Australia and email delivery from the United States); by using the platform you consent to this transfer. Early Access data may be cleared or migrated during the POC phase. We do not guarantee long-term data retention for this build.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting info@mmntm.social. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time. Some records may be retained for legal, financial, or operational compliance reasons.

Cookies

We use essential session cookies required for authentication (always on), plus analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics and Meta) to understand usage and measure campaigns. Non-essential cookies load only with your consent — you can accept or decline them in the cookie banner on your first visit, and change your choice at any time. Declining does not affect essential functionality.

Acceptable use

Platform acceptable use

All users must not

Commit fraud or submit fake documents; misuse QR codes or share them with others; scrape or extract platform data; harass, pressure, or threaten other users; attempt unauthorised access to platform systems; create duplicate accounts to bypass rules or restrictions; interfere with the operation of any campaign; use the platform for unsafe, illegal, harmful, or inappropriate campaigns or activities.

Campaign suitability

mmntm reserves the right to reject campaigns that are unsafe, inappropriate, unclear, misleading, or unsuitable — including campaigns with unclear offers, illegal products or activities, inappropriate targeting, or conditions that create safety concerns for creators or staff.

Policy updates

mmntm may update these policies as the platform evolves. Changes apply to future campaigns. Active campaigns normally follow the rules accepted at the time of payment, unless safety, legal, fraud, or platform protection considerations require immediate action. Major changes will be communicated through the platform. Users should review current policies before creating or joining campaigns.
